Student services should be able to give you information about actually switching classes. The department head might be able to give you information about other teachers. Student services should also be able to direct you to student/course advisors, who will definitely be able to work with you on this, because that's their job. Tl;dr: talk to student services first. Explain you need to find a similar course. Ask about advisors.
