So I'm not huge into anime/manga, but I really really like AoT. I'm not too far past the anime in the manga, and I don't know about anyone else, so lets try and keep spoilers to a minimum, but yeah, anyone else here into AoT? Apparently there's a movie besides the series??? I just found this out today. I think it's called Crimson Bow and Arrow. Don't know what that's about but I'm gonna try and find it so I can watch it. And apparently they're doing a second movie as well as the second season of the series, which is supposed to come out this spring/summer. So that's exciting news, because even though I'm into the anime the manga was hard for me to get sucked in, and I want to see what happens next.
I liked Eren in the beginning since his Angry Shonen Protagonist syndrome actually got in his way a lot. Hey, what do you know, rage and determination don't actually solve everything. Then he became a regular Shonen Protagonist and got rather boring. Eh. In contrast the female characters are consistently great. There was that shitstorm about whether Hanji Zoe is nonbinary; that was entertaining, watching people argue about whether the usage of "they" pronouns indicated being nonbinary or translation ambiguities.
Sorry for the necro, but wow, after I haven't been quite as invested in the manga for a while, the recent chapters and developments definitely pulled me back in. Spoiler: HUGE post chapter 80 spoilers Who do you guys think will get the serum? I'm sorta thinking it's gonna be Armin, though his death would also make narrative sense. I actually don't know who I would prefer to get it, as I like both Armin and Erwin ): Man, this is a pretty harsh situation, especially since we were just recently reminded again how Armin wanted to see the ocean and Erwin wanted to see what's in the basement, but only one of them may get the chance for closure. Also, any idea who's the titan that crawls on all fours? And what the fuck is up with Eren's dad?
where tf is season 2 does anyone know also i refuse to accept the events of chapter 81 and if everyone would be so kind as to never bring them up around me i would appreciate it greatly
