I love garishness, not gonna lie. Bright colors make me super happy. (I actually described my style to a friend the other day as "Mabel Pines on acid." Make of that what you will.)

These were all taken this summer, I'm reworking my wardrobe to be more "a genderless nature creature comes out of the woods and gives u a friendly greeting and also some weird magic spell doohickey" but so far it isn't coming through because clothes are expensive and I started with my Fall wardrobe because I didn't want to spend money on things that are already going out of season.

That's what I looked like after letting my hair grow for 10 years. My hair got everywhere, it frizzed, the ends were a mess, it took ages to dry, and I decided it needed off. My mother was not happy. I DIDN'T CARE.

that was the first hair cut. partially shaved, rest down to the collarbones. back then, i still had my eyebrow piercing. it ripped out, sadly. i miss it.

that was the next haircut. i bleached and dyed it myself, tho.

and with the colours reversed

bbys first wig

the shave goes to the back of my head since i started wearing my hair chin/nose length. it just gets perpetually shorter. grows out, gets cut short again, rinse and repeat. (i didnt end up buying the fake hipster glasses, even tho i liked how they looked on me)

bbys second wig. i love this wig so much. SO MUCH. but its low quality and sheds a lot ::(

 

Here's me, at 5am after little sleep thus the oh-so-serious expression which was "ugh, morning".

I'm not selfieing because I am Committed To Anonymity (okay and shy) but oh my god, your short hair! THAT is what I want my hair to do, I'm totally stealing that general idea.
