Really weird fantasy/sci-fi writer, writes sort of schlocky/pulpy novels. They're ridiculous and inane and funny and somehow still good. /weird Can write longer if there's no one else who likes these, might get some people to read them.
I have one of his books, it's on my to-read list, and I've been seeing recommendations around... Anything you'd suggest as a starting point?
Blue Moon Rising is the starter for a fantasy series that eventually develops into a different series. It's about a loser prince on an unicorn who goes to save a princess from a dragon. Which makes it sound like every other novel, but now imagine everyone's been put through a severe wringer or reality coupled with delightfully pulpy horror. The Deathstalker series is sci-fi and also completely ridiculous. Haven't gotten on the others yet. Really should, tho.
