I'm really enjoying the various new characters they're introducing, even if a) I'm real mad that the all-girl team lost to SSSN (even though story-wise I knew it had to happen), and b) I'm real mad that we still haven't seen Velvet's weapon, and now that team CFVY (the best team btw) got knocked out by Team Asshole we probably aren't gonna see it this season either :/ Seeing a bunch of new weapons and fighting styles is neat. Also I totally missed that Neon was supposed to be Nyancat-esque. Also ALSO Nora being literally Thor is the greatest.
Nora is wonderful. I'm so happy. I really hated the whole CFVY vs whatever the team name is fight, and my whole friend group spent a good couple of days bitching about it. Literal Nyan Cat was simaltaneously the most annoying and hilarious thing. Because, I mean. Rollerskating internet meme with glowsticks. WTF
I really liked both of the people on that team. Okay, I didn't like Neon's taunting of Yang, but that aside.
Same here. If Penny get hurt I'm gonna be Very Upset. I like to imagine that the other two in their team are super serious and have no idea how to deal with them.
Penny will be ok. Penny is Strong and cannot be overcome by the likes of Team Asshole. #believeinpenny Also yes I'm so psyched for the soundtrack release! I didn't buy season 2s, but this season is really knocking it outta the park music-wise. Also, I enjoy that Flynt Coal has made his way into RWBY as well.
So, I finally saw the new episode. Spoiler: illusions? So, who's fault do you guys think that one was? I've seen a pretty good set of reasoning for it being Neo's illusion stuffs, but a couple people I know are leaning towards Emerald, for some reason.
Spoiler: yep I mean Neo makes the most sense to me, yeah. She was also probably behind the one against Coco too. Also for the record my reaction to that episode was "Shit."
Spoiler: that's what I defaulted to In the Coco thing I poked the person next to me and went "I'm blaming Neo," so yeah. I wonder if this was the plan from the start or if it was a last minute alteration.
Spoiler There's some people saying Cinder, since she managed to disguise herself from Ruby (although that may say more about Ruby than Cinder) and the magical-costume-change thing. Also the whole getting up right before the illusion hits thing, but that may just be her being "mysterious". I feel like it must have been a last-minute alteration, since wouldn't it be better to have Mercury functional? Also he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to let himself be expendable.
Spoiler Yeah. Also, it felt funnier to me for Mercury to be genuinely upset/confused his leg just got whacked.
Spoiler: I'm finally caught up again my friend thinks it's Cinder. I'm not sure what I think except "holy shit no"
