I have a strange horror/fascination w the things in the depths that haven't evolved in millions of years bc they haven't needed to. some of them are terrifying but all of them are amazing bc they have senses we can hardly imagine and cuttlefish in particular have weird pupils that let them see different kinds of light than we can and it's so freaking cool

 

i love all fishies but cephalopods are my favourite oh gosh!! <3
