I've been reading the very first ones online. And they HAVE to be trying this hard to be that cheesy. "Like a brooding wingless eagle, the dazzling DAREDEVIL stalks the city's rooftops, ever alert, ever vigilant, his super-sharp senses probing the night, searching for adventure!" from issue #6 from 1963. this was his costume. good god.
