I just watched the Netflix dub of the new french film adaptation of Le Petite Prince. I... I was not emotionally ready for that. IT WRECKED ME. I mean it had me in actual blubbering sobs by the end of it. I'm one of those people who NEVER cries this hard at films. I mean. Maybe a few tears at most but. HOLY COW. I just. It's so beautiful. Use this thread to blub about other fandoms that might not have much size or appreciation. Let us all just be little asteroids floating through space with each a single rose, a little boy, and a fox.
Haven't seen the new adaptation (I saw the old one with Gene Wilder), but we read the original French book my senior year of HS (in French class, natch), and it was definitely a blubbery sobs kind of book.
