a lot of games have their own thread, but a lot don’t. and sometimes what you want to say doesn’t merit a thread of its own. like “i’m so over candy crush” or “i downloaded klondike and wow is there no documentation for this game” or “how many final fantasy tappy games even are there?”
Mobile games!!!!!!!! I would like to discuss my 327 day streak in Flow Free Also I need more word games to play, I've been playing Word Cookies for like 4 months now and need more word games
Flow Free is a puzzle game where you connect different color dots via pipes. I’ll include an example of an incomplete level, since the complete level image seems to be too big. EDIT: Since I have been apparently bad at finishing typing out my own messages recently, I was going to finish by saying it's been one of my favorite mobile games since I first got an Apple device. (My good ol' iPod Touch at a ripe age of 10-11 years old.)
also my own contribution to the information pile: i realized that a lot of things in merge dragons are best sold, including ALL the pay-to-open boxes. and suddenly free play is a lot more fun. i mean yeah the premium dragons are better than the ones you can buy for gold, but you can buy SO MANY TIMES more wity gold that it doesn’t matter. and you can get one or two of each type of premium dragon from events, so even for completionist reasons you still don’t have to spend a bunch of cash. dimensional jars are worth 50 gold, btw, and you get more from selling fruit than from harvesting it. i’ve been getting like 100 dragon power a day just farming gold in camp.
p i f f l e . piffle owns my fucking soul it’s a sort of bubble-pop style game, only with cute cats (and sometimes other things) popping blocks with varying properties there’s something like 300+ levels rn? and i’ve beaten most of them and tend to catch up before they add more levels. it’s super cute and plenty easy to play without spending real $$$. i like to play it when i’m getting blood drawn fjdbhfjfnsjfdndb
Thinking of starting Fate GO so I have shit to do on the bus when I'm not feeling podcasts. I will probably never roll the waifus I want and be stuck with like fucking Jack of all people or some dumb bullshit because I refuse to pay. but that dumb fate action man. now with more waifus who look like other waifus you like for increasingly contrived reasons!
Fact: I have been personally victimized by Fate/Grand Order for making my unironic favorite Artoria be Saber Alter dressed up in a miniskirt Santa outfit. Her Noble Phantasm is literally just Excalibur Morgan, but Jingle Bells is playing.
that is so fucking stupid that i want it though the thing that made me most go 'i would desire this thing heavily' was surfer mordred. just let my boy surf.
Personally victimized. (On an unrelated note, Seeker's Notes gave me a limited-edition player avatar and now I have to decide whether I want to keep being Lucy Liu or switch to being an apple-selling trash panda.)
Im playing Knittens, which is a match 3 game that also lets you make bad outfits for a kitten This is Dr. Leg, my beauteous child
It is good for making lrge amounts of time disappear However it does start purring at you if it has a notification, which is startling imo unless you ban it from giving you notifications
i just play... so much 2048 on the train I can get to 2048 basically every time now, so my current goal is to get past the 8000 number or get a new high score (> 218060) The other thing I play is Cat's Atelier, which is a match-3 type game with cats based on artists like Picasso and Van Gogh and Monet and Dali and such. It's a weird premise but I like the game bits and generally it's pretty forgiving for playing without paying (altho you may need some patience, there are levels that are just hard to get through and will eat up your "lives" and make you wait to regen them)
I've been messing around with a lot of tappy games, and I'm currently stuck on a level in Matchington Mansion. Which is just...frustrating, because I keep getting so close to solving it, and then I end up out of moves and in a spot where if I hadn't spent coins and power-ups earlier, I could probably beat it in another five moves. But I'm not about to spend money I don't have on it. I'm also trying to get land cleared in Merge Dragons so that I have more places to put stuff (although I've taken to selling off most of the pay-to-open chests, because Ye Gods And Little Dragons, I had way too many). The items that take up four squares are the Worst for me right now, because they're all unique items too. :/
i would sell all the pay to open chests, honestly. they’re never worth it. i also sell off ruins of the sky palace, as one tap per 10 camp hours isn’t worth the space it takes up, and it’s pretty easy to remake.
