Hi both of you-and thanks, Deresto! I can't remember where exactly I found the image, sorry, but it's flowering tea. They tie tea leaves and dried flowers into a ball, you put it in a glass teapot and watch it unfurl. So soothing to watch and the good kind taste great too!
welcome! lurking is fine, don't worry your icon is really neat, though flower tea kind of confuses me because? what do you do with the flower once its done being pretty? I've never had it before, obviously.
do with....? Um, well, after you've drunk all the tea then the tea leaves and the flowers get thrown out. I guess if you were being eco-friendly you could compost them or whatever?
wouldn't there be issues with pouring, or bits coming loose or I dunno. I should probably just look up a youtube video or something rather than interrogate you on tea, unless you're into that
Um, well, it's been a while since I've had any, but I don't remember there being any problems. Not sure why. I am always happy to talk tea though!
