I have a patreon, but I unfortunately do not really know how to use it effectively, and I'm starting to think it might be a waste of time for me because I have such a small following. I wonder if anyone may have tips or suggestions or ideas for what I could do to maybe help make it a more viable thing? I mostly do a lot of sketching and a lot of stuff I just don't really know what to do with, and don't really end up having a lot of long term projects. Starting to wonder if maybe it would be easier to set it up more like a monthly tip jar? Or set it so that it only pays out once I post something to patreon. Gah. I dunno. I'm at a loss really. I don't know what I'm doing and trying to find people to commission me or even just pay attention to my art is difficult lately.
Bumping this because I am also interested in learning about Patreon - I don't even have one, but I've been thinking about getting one. Patreon veterans?
maybe if we draw the boat enough times it will magically fill with an audience ....i think i am trying more so to push people knowing about my art first, but i don't even have a patreon so *shrugs*
