...is what @Pumpkageist and I agree the Sadako-vs-Kayako movie SHOULD of been about. We have both read the synopsis and take issue with the premise that the two ladyghosts would fight over 'prey'. It does not make sense.
(Basically, J-Horror crackthread. Because Ringverse and Ju-Onverse have irreversably descended into crack, anyway, and it's fuckin' glorious.) Sadako is a beret-wearing hipster director forever upset that nobody appreciates her films. Kayako is a single mother who is utterly sick of neighbourhood kids breaking into her house. Together, they pool their resources and concoct a plan of revenge.
