For fun, I have come up with two different scenarios which I would like to hear how members of Kintsugi believe they would act if they found themselves in. Spoiler: Scenario #1 You have been granted a superpower... to order bugs to harass whomever you wish! Do you use this power? How, and why? Spoiler: my answer I can't imagine that I would ever use this power. Spoiler: Scenario #2 You are in a shooting range and notice a man is standing near one of the targets - just hanging out - instead of back in the safe place where there aren't bullets flying. How do you react to this, and why? Spoiler: my answer I would try to locate an authority figure to have him removed. If I were unable to find an authority figure, I would at least move to a different part of the range where I wouldn't have to worry about my bullets hitting him. Feel free to add your own scenarios you want to see people interact with!
Scenario 1: be Skitter Scenario 2: honestly I'd probably shout to him and see if he's okay. That's probably not the best idea but that's what I tend to do instinctually.
Scenario #1: HELL YES I do. There's a few people whose lives I would like to be able to make suddenly and distinctly unpleasant on occasional whim. Maybe after a few times of that, I'd find a way to send them a message that this is for what they did to me/my friends. (Very old, very strong, and very well-deserved grudges at play, here...) Scenario #2: After freaking out for a moment, I'd go fetch whoever is in charge of the range, at top speed. If it looked possible and worth the time, I might try to get the attention of anyone else shooting and get them to stop, but if time was of the essence, then right to an authority figure.
1. Naw, not really. I'm just not vengeful that way. I would however order mosquitos to leave me alone for EVER. 2. Pretty much what's already been said. Get everyone to stop shooting and get the idiot the fuck out of there.
Scenario 1: I can imagine some uses for such a power... I would not want to use it very often, but I suppose it could come in handy. I would also order mosquitos not to bother me. Scenario 2: I would probably yell at the man to get away from the targets, and shout at everyone else not to fire because there's a guy there, and if he didn't listen or move I would go and grab an authority figure at the range to get the dude to move. I would also tell them that there was someone standing near the targets even if he did end up moving, just so idk they can amp up security to prevent it from happening again? Or yell at the guy for being an idiot and putting himself in danger.
