@OnnaStik @Bel Capricorn ((This is the forum thing.)) The first thing you feel as you come to is the roughness of a cave floor. It digs into the palms of your hands, and into your face. You are lying down. The floor, while not exactly comfortable, is actually kind of nice. It's cool, at least, if a bit damp. You roll onto your back, looking up. Your only source of illumination is a suspended glowing ball of energy, hanging about fifteen above your head. The cave is much taller than the light, a good twenty-five feet taller, and you can barely see the ceiling. The light from the ball is a dark red, which you realize is probably for easier darkness sight. What do you want to do?
>stand You push yourself to your feet. It's a little difficult- there's an ache in your legs like you've been running, though you have no idea what you would have been running from. Your last memory is of gazing out the window of your third floor walk up, watching a cat walk along the outside of the opposite building. Not something to be fleeing from. You stretch, noting the popping in your shoulders. >look walls You can't see any walls. The ball of energy only illuminates a circle ten feet around, and the cave is apparently- Wait, no, you can see one tiny section of a wall, though it's the only part of the cave wall that you can see. It what looks like the caved in remains of an exit. Great. This exit is to the south.
>smell room The cave smells like dust, salt, and just the faintest amount of bat droppings. Fun. Thankfully, none appears to have landed on you. You still have no idea what you're doing here. >look south You turn towards the exit you notice. From about five feet away, you notice that what you originally assumed were rocks from a cave in appear to have been stacked deliberately. It does not look like you can leave that way. To the North, East, and West, there is only the darkness beyond your bubble of light.
(ilu) >inv You search your pockets. On your person you have: Set of clothing (1) Blue jeans T-shirt whose color you cannot identify in the red light Vest with pockets Sneakers Presumably underwear A hat of some kind Watch (1) Wallet library card for a Springfield ID with the name Alex Doe and what you're fairly sure is not your face 30.21$ In your pockets, you somehow have: A small stick (1) Assorted keys (?) A knife (1) A pen (1) A Small Notebook (1)
>check for grue Don't be silly, this isn't a text-based adventure game. You nervously check the darkness anyway. You see nothing beyond your circle of light. >throw rock gently into the darkness to the north You are not holding a rock. A blocked entrance is to the South Darkness is to the North, East and West.
>throw stick gently into the darkness to the north You toss the stick underhand into the darkness to the north. You hear it skid against the ground, and eventually stop. However, it has not hit a wall. The stick is no longer in your inventory. >open notebook You gingerly open the A Small Notebook. Something like Oh now you fucking open me up, you useless piece of shit is heard. >read notebook? The notebook has nothing written in it. However, there is the crude drawing of a face, and some kind of arcane symbol.
>describe face It really is a rather crude drawing of a face. Circle for a head, line for a nose, two circles with dots in them for eyes, bushy eyebrows, line for mouth. Little lines for how. It manages, however, to appear irritated.
