So, here's what I gathered was happening:

Eggman manipulates Northern Ireland policy to make the Allies lose World War II. Without the European Union, he wants to bring law and order to the Middle East by replacing the Syrian population and closing their borders. Israel, right? Team Sonic try to stop him but sadly aren't in time to save the camels.
Silver wants the bad apocalyptic future Eggman is trying to prevent to come to pass, so he plans to assassinate the Royal Family. Because.
Shadow and Rouge just kind of meander around a bit and agree with whoever they happen to be with at any given time. A
my has an identity crisis and may have let slip that she is Batman. Her electromagnetic heart was stolen by the Victoria Family but Shadow and Silver don't really care.
Elise is a closeted lesbian but thinks her sexuality is a sin since she's an avid churchgoer. She finally comes out as gay after Eggman has sex with her and she becomes pregnant with a daughter, but she accidentally kisses Sonic and the world ends.
Mephelis is a satanic nihilist who thinks everyone is doomed no matter what happens. He decides to run for president and murders Sonic. Sure enough, the world gets set on fire anyway.

In seriousness, I am actually currently planning one about Amazonian river otters, which don't sound scary to anyone who doesn't know about them. I don't think they've ever attacked humans, but like the kangaroo they could do a hell of a lot of damage if they tried. So could pandas, but I have trouble imagining a motive for them.

This is coming from my step brother. He managed a warehouse that had industrial sized rolls of aluminum and other metals. These rolls weighed multiple tons each. They would use an automated crane. They would program each space available, and the crane would place the rolls where they were delegated. My brother tells me about an employee that knew how to work the system with FMLA, this guy was lazy as hell, and knew how to get away with it. It turns out he programed a slot on the top of a stack to be a dead zone, no rolls would go to that one spot. He setup a makeshift bed and would crawl up and take naps. He kept this secret, obviously. If someone had seen this spot was unused and reprogrammed it, the automated crane would have placed a 4 ton roll on top of him while he slept. Some people are wild.
