Grumbling about the "Lord Potter" fanfic genre recently, and it occurred to me that, should Harry in fact turn into a mega-rich titled huge-dicked harem-assembling stuck-up pureblood superwizard, Hermione would go with Ron to demonstrate disapproval of same and puncture her former friend's ego. I now want to see this.

as my sibling is playing Witcher 3, I’ve learned that Geralt is addicted to the in-universe card game gwent, which is basically a simpler MtG. and so: modern AU where Geralt is a national Magic champion who is renowned partly for his skill but mostly because he’s maybe the most conventionally attractive person who has taken part in any Magic tournament ever. there are multiple buzzfeed articles about him, all covering tournaments he didn’t actually win, one featuring a photo of him shirtless on his horse which Dandelion definitely sold them behind his back

I want a Leverage/Eizouken crossover, because I have called both Eliot and Mizusaki "a connoisseur of human motion" at separate times, albeit in completely separate contexts. I can't fathom, like, the circumstances of this crossover, but I'm imagining all of Elliot's "It's a very distinctive [punch/stance/knife]" and comparing it with how Mizusaki spends just watching how people stand up and walk. Parker and Asakusa can bond over their respective brainweirds and Hardison appreciates a fellow geek. This leaves Kanamori with Nate and Sophie and just typing that out is the most terrifying combination I can think of. Kanamori understands the hustle. She's fiercely loyal to her friends but understands their skills and when she needs to push them. A week watchinf those two and she'll be unstoppable.

 

I want a persona 5 /disco elysium crossover that smushes the game mechanics together so the thought cabinet and skills are harry's personas and joker's personas comment on all his actions, but i've got no idea for an actual plot.

The worst part of this idea is that I’ve genuinely considered that exact AU but for Steven Universe. I’d say great minds but in this instance I don’t think “great” is the right word

 

Umineko is so very very terrible because it would work too well. It's about a bunch of obnoxiously rich assholes who all hate each other but feel obliged to keep up the pretense that everything is fine, and they use each others' lives and families as proxies in a game of passive-aggressive oneupmanship, and also the author has an obvious thing for sadistic and dominant women that manifests as most of the female characters being richly psychologically detailed, complex, empathetically-written, awful people.

Rosa Ushiromiya would be the worst thing to happen to Twitter since the nonlinear timeline.

I'm actually writing this; Joelwurd on the assumption that the fan theory that A. Claire went to Alternia rather than dying and raised the lusus-less Elwurd is right. Trolls have no concept of incest, yeah?

 

I'm certain Marvus is psychically affecting how people see him and now I want a fic convo between two characters who see him entirely differently. Could be fun.

you can definitely remove your fics from ao3 after posting them (at least I don't recall any reason you shouldn't be able to), but this person doesn't seem to realize that

 

The title sounds so interesting, too, considering it was supposed to be an assclass/bnha crossover. The paper's a little interesting, anyway, even though it's entirely biased towards catholicistic morality.
