Okay, so. I was thinking about it, and there are different power origin types. Most common would probably be Born supers, comparable to X men mutants. Then we've got those that harness otherworldly energy- Magics Then we have Accidents and Experiments, And then Aliens. Also, not really Supers, but we've also got like really badass normal people with skills and training and possibly lots of money.
Yeah, give me a few hours to write up the character sheet outline, then we can start posting characters.
Okay, I've got my characters up. Do you want me to go ahead and start the RP or do you want to work on things like settings a little more. So far we've got Dive as a solid location, and the cat cafe? connected to it? What should we name that?
If cat cafe is connected, I vote that it's also a single word. Like "Cafe" or "Cuddle". (Though really if they're connected, it should be single syllabled, like "Dive & Crush") I'm assuming Dive is the sort of typical dark bar that everyone is mildly surprised when it doesn't smell like smoke?
Indeed. It's dark and maybe a little bit dingy. There are a few safety violations there, but somehow is always under the radar of officials and probably police types too if there are minors who frequent. Hmm. The cat bookstore that I went to was connected to a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory through a single heavy door, so in the same building, but they had their own definite area. I don't know if we want them to be connected or just next door to each other. Connected might be nice for borrowing a cup of cream. "Catfe"? "Fluff"? idk.
Although, on my campus, we have a coffee shop and a church connected to each other, but they obviously have different names. and they aren't owned by the same people. It's actually kind of interesting. They could also be just across an alley, like walk out the side door of Dive, across the really sketch alley (it has dumpsters and like real rusty fire escape ladders), and up a teeny concrete block of stairs into the side door of Catfe Fluff or whatevs. #whoa that was a real specific mental image i just got there
Hey if it's specific, let's go for it. I imagine the cafe is probably a lot less skeezy than its surroundings.
Heck yeah, said mental image also included walking up the dingy little stairs and then suddenly *bright* and *cheerful* and *wow cats* The cafe is ADORABLE in my head
Anyone laying to claim to the owner/main barrista of the cat cafe? (I´d call it Purr, as in the Dive & Purr)
