I meant Jacobi, though Kepler would also be... interesting. Spoiler: Same spoils Basically I was thinking that Jacobi's more or less Eiffel's Evil Urania Counterpart, and was sort of taking a "here, let me explain you a thing about how the boss works (also I'd totally murder the fuck out of you in a heartbeat if he gave the word)" approach in that ep that made me go "hmm".
EIFFEL WHAT DID YOU DOOOO (Previous post was made when they were just staring at him and he was like ???, I just finished the episode.)
P.S. I've been reading your posts from the first page of the thread, and I totally agree about Kepler's motives w.r.t. Eiffel and Minkowski. Ugh I should go to sleeeeep but I want to listen to more podcaaaast Edit: holy shit, I've only got two left? Screw sleep, I'm finishing this :D edit edit: whoops, I edited the wrong post.
*enables the fuck out of you* (Also, I've added some more to my estimation of Kepler's motives re Eiffel, and it's even more terrifying: Spoiler: Spooky scary colonel I think he's sincere. Not solely, of course, he's the guy who has a dozen motives for every damn thing, and he's obviously also trying to isolate Minkowski. But if he hates Hilbert for not getting the job (of murdering everyone) done, why wouldn't he hold Eiffel in some esteem for accomplishing the nigh-impossible on the USS Horrible Unending Nightmare? Now, here's the scary part about what-if-he-means-it: It means he's trying to recruit Eiffel into his ultra-cynical worldview and turn him into another Jacobi. )
(Although it's not that bad, there will be mini-episodes through the hiatus. Apparently we're getting backstories!)
Oh, that's promising! Let's see, what thoughts did I mentally queue up while the forum was down? 1. I bet that Maxwell DIDNT cut the wrong wire, and that it was the Eternal. I hope so? I miss that plant monster. 2. me 36 episodes ago: haha can't wait until something happens to break commander by-the-book's composure, that'll be fun me now: GET AWAY FROM HER ILL GOD DAMN FIGHT YOU 3. today I remembered what a fan I am of the "you're not just going to assent to my orders, resentful person, you're going to repeat them back to me" trope. it tipped me over from just-hating Kepler into enjoying-hating him. I STILL WANT HIM GONE THOUGH, STOP MAKING MINKOWSKI SAD
I didn't think of anything so coherent. Just thinking deliciously creepy thoughts about Eiffel with the SI5 bunch pre-Securite. No reason to be suspicious, knows nothing but that they saved him and are on their way to save his friends <3
God, I can't believe I caught up on this podcast in TWO DAYS admittedly it's not the nearly 200-hour extravaganza that, ex, friends at the table is, but god damn. was not much else to do while I sat around feeling (appropriately enough) vaguely sick and sorry for myself, lol. now to begin stage 2 of tests: attempts to infect kintsugi user sarah luckydicekirby. she's proven susceptible to my podcast recs in the past. :3 the thread can now return to normal operation instead of xtreme liveblogging editfests. good night, friends. try not to have weird, wolf 359-themes dreams like I did last night and probably will again tonight because I listened to like ten hours of it today
...actually, someone talk to me about the Urania days please, that's the only problem with such a tiny fandom is no one's written the fic you desperately want to read
