Baked avocado eggs, right? Baked fuckin' avocado eggs. Every food blogger on the planet has a version and oh they're so easy and quick!

Let me tell you a tale friends

Either the avocados here in the UK are puny little things or the eggs I got were laid by Time Lord chickens

Because those fuckin' eggs were not staying in those avocados no matter how much flesh I scooped and how much swearing I did, and oh, I did a lot of swearing. So much swearing. If I wasn't going to hell before I sure am now

Eventually I gave up and grumpily threw the eggs in a pan with some avocado oil and scrambled them to nearly done, then added the avocado flesh and squished it all up with my whisk and got an unappealingly, virulently green pile of scrambled avocado eggs

Piled on some wafer turkey and a little amber tomato and some creme fraiche without much hope but

They were goddamned glorious

Delicious, a+, lick-the-plate glorious

Victory somehow snatched from the jaws of culinary defeat

 

I can't imagine trying to put eggs in avocado to be baked because I exclusively eat the smaller Mexican avocados instead of the huge Florida ones with less fat, but avocado scrambled into egg is a fantastic breakfast.

I am so indecisive, what do I want to write. what do I want to do. What superhero rpg system do I want to use to stat these characters up.

 

Some six years ago I bought a pretty ceramic-and-cloth doll from a flea market for a tenner. It had that old-people-smell-mixed-with-cigarettes on it on close inspection, and I got annoyed by it today so I dismantled the doll and washed it.
The washwater just for the clothes ran dark brown twice, but they smell nice now.
Some of the filling stained while washing and I couldn't get the smell out of the "skin", so I went and cut it open, dumped the filling, and washed the "skin" separately.
The hat was glued on, that poor doll's hair. Soaked it in rubbing alcohol to soften it up and pull it off, managed to save all but a few strands. Washed the hat. Currently pondering what to use to remove the glue remnants off the hat and the doll hair.
Doll head is currently soaking in fabric softener.
