I wouldn't put peppers in cornbread because I've always had it sweet, but that might be one of the few ways you could get me to eat peppers. Delicious.

Cornbread does not taste good to me. Whoops. The texture is too gritty and the taste is meh

I have never actually had cornbread like that but I'd be willing to try? I really can't imagine it, though, my brain is presenting me with this really weird mash-up between cornbread and corn pudding, the latter of which I hate.

Cornbread with peppers is good tho, as long as they're fresh peppers. Pickled jalapeƱos are the one pickled vegetable I dislike.

  6. Corn fritters (fried, with corn and peppers in the mix) and cornbread aren't the same thing, or at least not around here. Then again I'm in the Pacific Northwest.

itsAlana let me tell you about the vorkosigan saga

cornbread with whole corn kernels is great and helps keep it from getting too dry (tho of course the proper way to eat cornbread is absolutely smothered in butter and honey)

Soymilk is the worst not-milk milk. Discuss.
(conversely: ricemilk is the best not-milk milk)

I raise: coconut milk is the worst. That's not milk, that's white water, just as bad as skim cow's milk.

Rice milk is a gr8 substitute tho, agree there

For some reason all of the (cow) milk I ever purchased in Japan, of any brand or percent fat, was god tier delicious. I've never known why. It was convenience store milk. Maybe freshness?
