    So, for context, my wife spent her whole therapy session last week talking about how she's disturbingly similar to her cat MojoJojo.

    She and I were talking about how this one YMCA class is taught by this Fucking Unit, Emily. And my wife was like, "SHE'S TOO INTIMIDATING, I COULD NEVER BE AN ABSOLUTE UNIT LIKE HER."

    So I said, no I don't want you to be an absolute unit anyway, and she was like, "I could be an absolute unit! You can't tell me what to do. Wait, no, Mojo could never be an absolute unit so I can't either."

    Me: "Yeah, you can stay delicate and graceful, like Mojo."

    Her: "Mojo's not delicate or graceful! She's too skinny AND she's a trouble maker."

    The other day I was having to tell my new director (a black man) about a problem client, and I ended up saying:

    "Between you and me; straight white men, I just can't."

    And he doubled over wheezing and laughing. I thought I'd killed the man. He's a great boss. Also he swears like a motherfucker and constantly apologizes afterward, it's adorable.
