Came home to a small, tired, dirty, hot, hungry, thirsty and scared but very friendly kitten meowing her little head off.

She has been bathed, fed, watered and very thoroughly snuggled by children. I posted a found add on Craigslist after asking around the neighborhood.

I've seen a lot of random encounters since I started playing Pokego a couple weeks ago (*Bilbo voice* "It's a dangerous business, going out of your door"), but today's takes the cake: a therapy pony in tiny pink horse sneakers.

I-assume-feral gray cat out near the garbage cans. It bolted when I tried to get close enough to get a decent picture.

There’s entire colonies descended from escaped pets and mostly they do pretty well without humans - although this guy was definitely begging for snacks

There's similar colonies in Germany! Along the Rhine (Think Cologne and associated cities) mostly, where it's warmer. They're actually growing breeding colonies, and I thiiiink they're even the same species?

Dog in a t-shirt! Also, there's a very fancy orb-weaver spider that's made a web right outside my window.

went to a local fair today and saw So Many Doggo :'3

    highlights:

    dock dogs competition!

tiny, sleepy baby shibe zipped up in his owner's jacket!

a beagle/husky mix who was Ridiculously Hansom

leonberger pupper that was Wiped Out and being carted around in this little... plastic barrow? filled with blankies and pulled by his owner

greyhound rescue with Many noodles either sleeping in a ridiculously comfy looking enclosure or outside being adored by passing humans

all these and literally many dozens more

also four kittens at a cat rescue booth, one of which was sleeping in one of the volunteer's arms and had a little white mustache, and the other three in a toy-filled enclosure bouncing off the walls, climbing the toys and tackling each other.

I just realized I never posted an update on the stray kitten. No one ever came forward to claim her so now she is ours and we have named her Roxy. She's the SWEETEST little baby who snuggles every one and has the softest marshmallow paws.

ok help my mum found a very tiny lizard while walking the dogs today. She thought it was dead and picked it up to bring it to me (for my collection of Dead Things in Jars) but apparently it was just cold, and she's now trying to figure out what to feed it. Any one got any ideas?

Pics? The best thing to do is figure out if it's native/invasive. If native, find a good bit of it of the way habitat then let it do it's thing.
