I... think this means the author really likes Jiang Cheng? I can’t say I’m 100% certain. It could mean basically anything, but frankly I’m completely busy laughing at the mental image of Jiang Cheng directing his laser focused Channeling Emotional Confusion Into A Huge Drama Tantrum stare at a small stone.

I dunno why, but Jiang Cheng just seems to get the tags most likely to make me laugh.

 

For some reason the idea of an implied person fills me with mirth. Probably he’s doing bad deeds offscreen or in the past and nobody wants to talk about him or knows who’s responsible even though the deeds are relevant to the story. But maybe he’s just like, right there leaning against a wall. Everyone is conducting their business around the unspoken difficulty of Xue Yang leaning on a wall.

Specifically it's listed as "魔道祖师 - 墨香铜臭 | Módào Zǔshī - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù" (because in this fandom even the fandom names get piped). It's often written as just Mo Dao Zu Shi. The English translation of the title is Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation. The Untamed is the TV show adaptation and probably what the most people would recognize, but the fic is not actually listed under that fandom, so.
