found a "Jaime Lannister Needs a Hug" tag and my immediate reaction was no, Jaime needs to stop fucking his sister is what he needs to do. i mean, i'm a pretty decent fan of him too, but. Jaime. He's doing a bit better at that in the books..maybe? i skimmed the last few books several years ago because Those Books Are Long and i was reading an illegal upload.

If I recall, when people bitched at the author they started tagging other fandoms or some shit? Or was it copying the fic into other fandoms? Either way, they did shit up a bunch of other fandoms in retaliation from what I had heard.

People were talking about it over in the fanfic gripes thread, yeah. I guess at least it shut up the people whining about Freeze Peach over the user block feature that's been on the ongoing development list for ages.

Yeah, this and a couple other examples finally reached the point where even I agree, there is such a thing as too many tags.
