So. With the Ever-Given (ship of the Evergreen label) stuck in the Suez Canal, the internet has been memeing, as it does. And memes and jokes lead to shitpost fics, as we do.

I'm happy to report that Implied (c)anal sex is now a tag used on AO3 (source)

 

I stared at this tag for like a full minute of very strange mental images before I figured it out, so I now present it with even less context for the audience's confusion.

 

Given the current NSFW Batman Discourse I of course had to go to AO3 and I'm so proud of fandom.

So for Reasons I decided to look up what the tiny fraction of F/F fics that show up in boy band RPF fandoms are, especially after filtering out the ones tagged "genderbend." The answer is that most of them don't understand how the categories work and clicked on all of them for their M/M fic, but also that on the first page I discovered both a readerfic tagged "Y/N/Everyone" where the reader is sold to One Direction and then rescued by Sonic the Hedgehog, and this:

This was absolutely worth turning off my AO3 Savior.

well I searched "One Direction (Band)" + F/F + "Sonic the Hedgehog - All Media Types" and it in fact turned up 2 fics: the one I was looking at (which, like much of this tag, I assume was written by a kid) and something that got hidden by AO3 Crossover Savior for having 25 fandoms tagged which, when I hit the "Show" button, also had this tag:
