It was from the perpetual font of weird which is the Pokemon fandom tag and also tagged "Geodude," so I assume the kind of mine that is a hole dug in the ground to pull out valuable rocks, but I was just cruising for weird summaries so I didn't look at the actual fic.

 

Given that the Geodude line can learn Self-Destruct and Explosion, it could really go either way...

 

Speaking of things spotted while cruising for weird summaries:

I don't even go here, but I've noticed this one shows up a lot when BNHA fic turns up in freeform tags.

 

Yeah minoru is the classic Huge Creep and Sexually Harrasing for "Comedy" trope as well as having the personality of a wet blanket, most everyone hates him

 

I prefer the ones where he faces A Consequence and gets expelled after season 1, but deletion from reality is also acceptable

 

Mineta feels like a throwback to 90's anime who somehow got trapped in a modern series. Specifically, he's the weird perv character, and has had no character development, and adds nothing to the plot.

Spoiler: Specifics of his sexual misconduct

Hits on all of his female classmates, tries to peep on them in hot springs, finds a hole in the wall so he can watch them change, gropes a classmate who is saving him from drowning. Lies to his classmates to trick them into all dressing as cheerleaders. He meets a six-year-old and tells her to 'look him up in ten years'II could go on, but I won't.

And My Hero Academia seems to treat issues like family abuse and the commercialization of heroism as fairy serious topics, so it kinda bothers me that underage sexualization is just slapstick jokes and more reasons to draw high school boobs. So combine all of that with 1) everyone constantly threatened with expulsion and 2) another more popular character who desperately wants into that class, and it's an easy decision to toss That Guy We All Hate and replace him with That Guy We All Like.
