realtalk i start to tear up a little if i think about pokemon for too long, or like specifically a society that's always had pokemon and pokemon are just Part Of Everyone's Lives like. I WANT INTELLIGENT MAGIC ANIMALS THAT LOVE YOU AND WANT TO HELP YOU AND COME IN HUNDREDS OF SHAPES AND SIZES AND PERSONALITIES...... I WANT TO LIVE IN A SOCIALIST WORLD WHERE NO ONE BOTHERS WITH CAPITALISM BECAUSE WEVE GOT POKEMON SO LIKE WHAT'S THE POINT???? BIG STRONG animals that you can trust to be careful with children and smaller animals because they're POKEMON and they're INTELLIGENT and ENJOY HELPING!!! pokemon with JOBS that suit them perfectly!!! tasks that they find fulfilling!!! that satisfy their needs!!!! pokemon that fight fires!!! pokemon that work in construction!!! pokemon that provide therapy!!!! pokemon that teach and cook and compete in sports and babysit and protect and do whatever makes them happy and wild pokemon!! just chilling!!! sometimes a wild pokemon you come across multiple times will decide that it wants to be YOUR FRIEND, YOUR PARTNER, JUST BECAUSE IT LIKES THE CUT OF UR JIB YES obviously the world wouldn't have all its problems magically solved by pokemon but maybe i'm still depressed but maybe i also see a blissey every week and she's helping because she's made of happiness!!! maybe i'm still poor but the zigzagoon that follows me home sometimes keeps leaving cool treasures on my doorstep..... maybe there's still crime and corruption but it stays out of the highest levels of the System because of all the alakazams who will read ur mind and are too smart to be taken advantage of......
