Revamping this thread because I never did much with it before, and have been having option paralysis with Creative/Productive Things of late. pretty much anything i want to work on more goes in here, i guess. Things I am Currently Interested in Working On: - learning Scrivener - learning Ren'Py - deciding on projects to write in Ren'Py - learning Quest (text adventure engine) - finishing CSS course on Codeacademy - picking next Codeacademy course - learning RPGMaker - finding my tablet pen - learning more ASL - unpacking and cleaning my room - figuring out classes for this upcoming semester - more proactive approach to financial stuff, budgeting - expanding my practical-cooking repertoire - practice a few different hairstyles to see if i can make my hair bearable without cutting it off - identifying executive function glitchpoints and practicing them to make them easier - setting up a regular weekly appointment time with my therapist - clearing that day from my work schedule - clearing mornings from my work schedule for the winter Interested But Not Currently: - general game design - regular prose writing, at least 500 words a day - continuing to learn German - continuing to learn Spanish - continuing to learn Gaelic - continuing to learn Italian - continuing to learn French - continuing to learn Japanese - continuing to learn Latin - learning digital art/painting - improving anatomy - watercolors - soap carving - calculus and physics not an exhaustive list by any means, and stuff will probably bounce between the two categories plenty, and each item will probably split into what i need to do to pursue said item, but here's hoping this thread will give me a focusing and troubleshooting point when i'm getting hung up on what to work on at a given time.
updated the OP! it looks like tonight my goal is... sleep, ahaha, but i'mma check back on this from time to time when i get antsy about what productive to do. also, you know what? i think i'm gonna mark these each time i pick a specific goal to work on in a given session, so i can see where my progress is going.
