I found my tiny immersion blender i got from the thrift store hiding in my pantry and decided to give it a try--it works pretty well!

oh god why did i get out of bed today

i was feeling really glum so i thought "I'll go for a walk!"

It's bright and icy out

I am picking my way down a hill

I absolutely eat it, WHOOP, feet in the air, land flat on my back, scrape my hands up, my skirt and underwear are soaked

And here's this middle aged guy leisurely walking his bike

And I have to slide down the ice to get some footing

And not only does he not ask if I'm ok, I realize he is flat out LAUGHING AT ME as he walks away

And then spotify chooses at that moment to hit me with the lyrics "cause I know how it feels, filling in the blanks, looking for a bright side, WHEN THERE IS NO BRIIIIGHT SIIIIDE"

and eventually i made it home and now my ankles and wrists and butt hurt like heck and i'm all alone and i was gonna end this on a light note with a funny picture of some snow on a tree that kinda looked like a cartoon cat hugging the trunk but the camera didn't take it for some reason so yeah today sucks the end

And so far it's pretty awesome: @Mercury bought me a subscription to FFXIV and also THE FFX SUMMONER DRESS, which I have been pining for ever since I started playing this game. Our dear friend Danny also nabbed me the Shadowbringer expansion, which means I can finally turn Selene Lalune into the glamorous moon bunny she was always meant to be. 8) Thank you, thank you, thank you, I feel so spoiled. <3
