probably. i hope i can just sleep it off, that usually works. for the record, i immediately showered after the garden thing and no ticks were found (friends mom helped look at my back) and symptoms of that take a few days to appear, so im fairly certain thats not it.
managed to short-circuit my electric haircutter some time ago so i cut my hair with scissors and a razor. i also bought fresh razor blades. which were, in fact, a lot sharper than the old fuchs blades i still had. there's... a skin flap and about a dozen cuts or shaved-off skin portions on my head now, i can't really show the right side, and it's uneven. bluh.
what is it with me and electronics? i will confess that the samsung laptop was my fault but everything else (the asus, the three convertibles, the scale, the camera, the blender, my tower...) wasnt so yeah sudden downpour today and my phone refused to properly boot again for like 3 hours but its back online, now i only need to remember my sim pin.
ahahahahaha i knew it i remember the first time i was like "the fucks my sim pin again?" but i miraculoysly remembered even tho i dont think ive used it in at least 2 years then, and i know i had to reenter it when i switched phones. and i had to reenter it whenever my old phone ran out of juice, come to think of it. i knew it would come to me again. i knew it.
blrgh. something in the garden is setting off an allergic reaction that has been gradually worsening over the past few days. it recedes over night and then comes back with vengeance the next day. yestetday the rash qas just there and on my lower arms, feet, and right knee, today it spread to the backs of my hands, the left knee, both shins, and, if that werent enough already, started itching. time to get some antihistamines, i guess. at least im not sneezing. not sure which particular tree sets that off, but there arent any here. adult onset allergies: fun! not.
eh, i'll just dose myself in ceterizin. doing that does have a big upside: the gnat bites have stopped itching as well.
motherfuck i just had a... bee? wasp? i think it was a wasp, gnaw on my lip. its annoying enough when they crawl around on my lip because it smells sweet, but pkease stop gnawing at me, the gnats do that already!
Dear future Kite: When some larger winged hellbeast slaughters the wasps hanging around the grapes and dumps the bodies on you, do not attempt to pick up the body with your own two hands. That's how you get stung. Sincerely, past Kite who is currently applying a cooling pack to the tip of their right index finger, where the spasming stinger connected
dont be, this is all by my own stupidity. i saw it coming and still did it. you have fun on your holiday! if it eases your mind, the stinger just pricked me and it was not a full sting. hurts like a motherfucker once i remove my finger from the cooling pack. period cramps hurt more.
... that being said im not going to run around barefoot in that garden until i find and depose of said wasp body. and, if i count lite versions, gonna cross that off my bucket list.
the pain has mostly receded. fingertip is still sore and stings if pressured. will need to be careful around the grapes because theres at least two wasp bodies lying around there.
got a seasonal job, only 1 week because of organizational reasons instead of two, but hey. my current emotion is screaming, though, so xx_xx fuckin anxiety. time to hop under the shower and over so i can finalize the paperwork so i can work 5 graveyard shifts moving shoes around next week.
i also made an appointment to refresh my personalausweis. iiiit expires in a week and the earliest appointment i could get was in 4 weeks, but for most id purposes a driver's license is sufficient
tfw you ptfo for 4 hours when you usually just go under for 1-2 hours. maybe 3. in 12th grade my art teacher asked me if i had narcolepsy, and i honestly don’t know? i know what triggers the sleep attacks, it’s getting not enough sleep, but also sort of nebulous when it hits critical mass so to say. it almost entirely went away when i started attending university and i stopped having classes before 10am. in school i had 1-2 per week. can't fight it. i get 5 minutes tops to place myself somewhere safe and then i'm out like a light. super refreshed afterwards. probably more an aftereffect of an only somewhat existant sleeping schedule, a delayed circadian rhythm, and some form of insomnia. at least that i can self-medicate with coffee before bed. #adhdlyfe
