I actually know the charm-school woman from back when she was in the SoCal scene before she moved up to Seattle. Acquaintance-know, not friend-know, but still.
Their stuff is so cool! Someday when I have money I would like to get a bunch of sparrow skulls and make them into things.
*wants to buy candles, already bought Sims 3 and a ring today* if only i could get money for sitting on my ass chatting with people all day
Brand new Leonard Cohen probably goes here? yeah, probably. turns out he has a new album coming out in a couple of days. (warning: song is dark as fuck even for a Leonard Cohen song.)
Given that many Goth bands took inspiration from Leonard Cohen, definitely. The Sisters of Mercy are named from a Cohen song, for instance).
i totally forgot--my order of mystery bags came in from goodgoth! it's definitely not top tier makeup, but 10 for $14....you can't expect anything super fancy, haha! i got a bunch of different colors of lipsticks, a couple lipliners, some sorely-needed mascara, and some eyeliner, so it is definitely something i'll order again to test out how certain colors work on me. do recommend if you haven't got a lot of experience with makeup and don't want to buy products you're not sure you'll like. the accessory bag was fun as hell, too. i got a couple chokers, a really cute ring-and-bracelet combo, and an adorable pair of halloween socks, and everything came packaged in these adorable casper the ghost goodybags. again, not something you'd want to get if you know what you want, but fantastic for trying to see exactly what you like, what works for you, etc, and a really nice value too. i gave a couple things i knew i wouldn't use to my brother, but i liked almost everything in the bag. so i would say the site isn't necessarily selling top-of-the-line stuff, but it's got a really nice selection of stuff, and the mystery bags were fun as hell.
My band is Cosmic Autumn War Woods-Master. Which, honestly, I think I might turn into a D&D character.
