"Grandmother, it's me... ANASTASIA"
what a charming idea
I know, right??
I have a really sweet Disneyland story of my own. When I was eight, I rode the Jungle Cruise with my parents as our last ride of the day. It was pretty late, not long until closing, so there weren’t too many other kids my age still at the park, and I was the only little kid on the boat.
The skipper told us that he’d had a long day and was tired, and said he wasn’t sure he was cool to drive (note that the ride is actually on a track). And then he turned to me, and he asked me, “Would you like to take the wheel?”
I got to “drive” our Jungle Cruise boat. That’s a magical moment I’ll never forget. <3
that’s such a good moment!
disney is great about that, and encourages things like that from its cast members, esp in the parks.
(disney world is my dad's special interest and I've been so many times and it actually hasn't gotten old for me bc of the cast members at the parks and hotels and how much most of them enjoy their jobs)
Spoiler: idk if this is big or not?
I saw this ADORABLE interaction happening across the street from my Papa’s house and I managed to snap a picture! They were sniffing each other and even booping snoots together, it made my day so much better!!
horse vs cloud
Kakapo! Also known as a land parrot. I love them <3<3<3
Spoiler: Big img
Kakapos are great and the population is actually recovering!
Hell yeah! That makes it even better!
(Like, still critically endangered, but they had a record breeding season a few years back and there are now a significant number more hilarious moss potato birds, which is good, because every one of them makes the world better by existing.)
Spoiler: Nsfw related to kakapo
I'm not sure I'd call it blessed per se, but this was the moment I fell in love with these adorable useless green soccer balls -
"He's so happy!" :D
What a horny fucko bird
