ok so i actually have no idea how the tantrum adventures should go down or who should do what, or anything, and my brain's blanking out at 'just make shit up'. suggestions? preferences?

 

ok i've been thinking about this and dragging my heels for a few days and i finally gotta admit, i don't know what to write, the words aren't coming, and it just seems stressful and unpleasant to carry like most of a scene of awkward club-broken jerry springer drama interlude on my own.

i'm aware that you're under the weather, but can we try to adjust what happens in the scene? i don't think a troll that wrote a spur of the moment late night passionate proposal to a near-stranger, then got coldly shot down, is going to fling themselves at him again the minute he shows up. also, the thought of that just gives me huge secondhand embarrassment. i didn't know it would! but it does.

ok let's talk about this then! i'm just gonna ramble it out.

lainey is nicer than clarke so i like her less. shipping her and erskin seems like an obvious move but also seems intensely boring. i'm already close to indifferent about flush relationships, adding the 'heterosexual' aspect to 'both characters are mine' to 'i don't think lainey is involved in anything illegal' and i'm like.... yeah, no. snooze.

so i'd have to make her more interesting somehow i guess? i was idly pondering erskin getting tangled up in a two-for-one moirails kind of deal with lainey and camera guy, because hey, threesomes, super nice, good job threesomes. but erskin and bel both having shy skinny slightly-nuts goldblood boyfriends seems.... awkward? i kinda regret making him a goldblood now, haha. i'm pretty sure lainey's greenish-teal. also i'm pretty sure lainey and camera guy are very sixteenish. they just seem a notch or two younger than even erskin is.

i could definitely see lainey courting erskin because he's glamorous, and charming, and absurdly rich. she's got expensive tastes, she's kind of immature and reckless, she's brazenly inquisitive and pushy, she's opportunistic. i wouldn't blame her for going after him with one part star-crush and one part greedy calculation. but i also don't want erskin getting used by yet another scheming female parasite? once is ok but twice is a pattern, haha.

...i went away and ate a fruit and came back and now i'm thinking, maybe lainey could angle to be erskin's support staff? a sort of pepper pots-ish adjunct/informer position, where she's in a more stable position than a teenage younger/lowerblooded girlfriend would be. she'd be making herself useful and valuable, and she'd be more making a smart career move, than a gross gold-digging romantic move.

i feel like bel and jethro would approve of a small fire-breathing girl in expensive shoes trotting around after erskin and running his life. someone should.
