i think if you are the kind of person to like harry potter, then reading it to a sentient wolf, who challengingly wags his tail whenever anyone says anything mean to harry, is probably a 100% adorable experience

okay here's a wild suggestion: Pancho got pulled out of the army to work as a field medic for SCP Foundation Agents and they meet her somewhere when they get mixed up with some scary bullshit. She keeps trying to give them amnesiacs until Erskin is like 'would you cut that out, human-formulated amnesiacs don't work on werewolves, we are magic' and Bel is like 'wait what' and Erskin is like 'wait you thought that there was somehow a scientific reason for why you turn into a fucking wolf on the full moon' and Pancho is like 'oooh' and then maybe Pancho and Bel are pale smitten with one another and exchange cellphone numbers when the adventure wraps up

alternate suggestion Pancho is from an alternate universe where they have were-wolverines instead of werewolves and they all think this is pretty weird and funny

 

would pancho try and recruit bel to the foundation? it might actually be a good fit for his interests and skillset, though erskin would be dead against it due to how agents probably don't get to have families, or retirements. from what i've read, the agents either die human or turn into really, really creepy bastards.

we could either set her on a team trying to deal with a containment breach of an existent scp, or i could make something up, or they could all just stumble over some classic mythological beastie on a rampage

i keep returning to the idea of a random-exit underpass because i think those are neat, tunnels that let out somewhere they shouldn't are just cool to me. but maybe they take one and find that wherever it spits things out is cordioned off and under watch by a very big team of very well armed dudes, who are not expecting two very small and polite monsters who very much do not want to be shot. not actually par for the course of things that end of the pipe redirects

also possibly they're somewhere really inconvenient now, like the empire of guam

 

maybe if they try going back in from the 'wrong' side it dumps them out on the side of the road they should have initially come out at. it's a tunnel with three ends. it should go A to B, but instead goes A to Z, then Z to B, then B to A, with Z being the particularly weird point.

unfortunately for the guys at Z, monsters show up at Z from all different points of A, and mostly not want to go back.

maybe bel and erskin hang out with pancho because she can come back to their point B with them if they're escorting her, and in any universe the foundation is going to stick some dudes through a super dangerous tunnel that all of a sudden has a not-so-dangerous setting. pancho could take a lot of notes on stuff and get dropped off / shelved at bel and erskin's version of the foundation.

 

what i like about the foundation is it's scary and creepy and does really fucked up stuff, but it's not an evil or malicious organization. they genuinely are the good guys. but they're just trying to deal with such world-shatteringly dangerous shit that the moral scale they operate on is pretty skewed from some regular police force. i love stuff like that.
