Boat Trolls planning thread! (full of spoilers, non-players enter at your own risk)

also, in the regular universe, what if erskin hooked up with grue? she's erskin's type (has boobs, will push him around, will let him touch the boobs) and lives with plenty of non-partycats and bel could check in on them anytime, or even tag along to read more of hestia's library. and with five vamps plus all their trolls, there's bound to be plenty of quests they can send him on.

 

i like it, i bet 'iceblood' is a very prestigious title to be awarded. i figure that trolls tend to share titles because there's way more trolls than eight-letter descriptions. hence 'title lastname' or 'given title chosen title'. so bel would know of several historical and even living 'iceblood's, and probably be really pleased by the comparison.

also werewoof bel and commander kadros meeting would be extremely interesting. like hey, hannibal kadros, you know how when you were traumatically torn up by a monster you got discharged? that's 'tuesday' for a juvenile troll. and this guy's like thirty years into a projected career of several thousand years. also he's going to end up built like two beautiful gorillas in a trenchcoat. the alternate universe version of you that got born into a monster race is... definitely impressively monstrous.

they would still find some common ground to nerd out about, though. commander kadros might be very impressed that the cute monkey version of him that would never top seven feet or live longer than fifty sweeps still enthusiastically freeclimbed the same rocks.

 

if human bel popped up on the sunslammer, he'd be lucky, because erskin would politely lock him in the brig. if human bel popped up on alternia, just about any teen he encountered would probably go berserk the minute they realized he was an alien, not a weird pet or joke or costume.

'alien invaders take the homeworld' is probably the troll horror-story equivalent of rage-zombie apocalypse, since they're already coping just fine with zombies. teens would absolutely be encouraged by all media to keep alert for alien invaders and slaughter the shit out of anything that might be one. better a million false positives than one false negative!

 

yeah i just meant bel would top out at like eight foot something, not that he'd be all lumpy.

edit: also clearly anime adam is upset that the angel is wearing a belt buckle over leggings.

 

it also continues to amaze me that people can spend what's clearly hours and hours and hours on painting light and texture, but zero minutes googling how to draw a wing. nope, there's top curvy bit and a lot of jaggedy bits on the outside and it kind of goes swoosh, that's good enough.

when you feel better, i would definitely like to get back to playing! in whatever universe seems fun. seeing the subjugglators off and everyone having a party could be a cute plot bit. especially for erskin/jethro ust. upt?

 

well me and the trash babies will just wait patiently on the docks for your brain to come home from the great war.

if you can bear plain unmodded minecraft, i've been toodling around on the raven's roost vanilla servers lately, it's very companionable. i made a thirteen floor wizard tower and now have a chicken.

i don't think bel would have had the time to follow the news of all the battles on all the fronts, and i don't think a rustblood shocking and embarrassing her superiors by winning a battle would really make the news, and he's not plugged into the military grapevine anymore, plus busy as heck with recent zombies and clowns... what if he was just able to read between the lines of her transfer file and be like 'FRIEND! FRIEND LIKE ME!' and then he gets even more excited and impressed each time he unlocked a little more of her backstory.
