i parsed that as 'troll jane austin' and i was like yeah, that sounds like a line out of troll pride and prejudice.

some people should die. that's just unconscious knowledge, mr darcey.

 

erskin is probably going to doze off soon. if bel sneaks out to spite him or for any other reason he will be a) totally unsurprised and b) shout 'SEE!?' at bel the moment he finds him.

 

this galley loves anything that results in more drama, especially if the drama involves pissing officers off at each other. he is not as much small bel's friend as small bel probably expects him to be.

eta: probably one of the reasons the crew's so scrupulous about ghosts is galley provides enough poltergeist sabotage for anyone.

 

bel's galley had a lot more minders and a bit less gleeful malevolence on their first meeting than the sunslammer's deadly helmsman. small bel's done nothing wrong, and is closely related to his bel, who he's very fond of, but galley's still a really frustrated and resentful troll who's used to fucking with people whenever he gets a chance, and this chance was just handed to him...

edit: actually i'm not sure what you could have bel do from here. use his wits to find his way out, probably? or be in the process of doing that when erskin comes and finds him?

they probably have crash frames but no roofs, btw, to accommodate horns and how there's no rain on spaceships.

 

yeah, i decided they're a stowaway from the clownship trying to hide out and probably suffering really, really terrible mental issues. still, it's a fairly reasonable assumption for a paranoid stowaway hiding in a place literally no one ever comes, to see a highblood driving in thoughtful investigative circles around their hideout, and assume they've been found out. and then want to go down fighting.

i was thinking if bel had sealed packaged food they could accept it? and calm down a little? guess i should have said so earlier but come to think of it, bel's out of food, isnt he? so yeah theyd probably just keep rampaging around harmlessly if he sneaks off. what do you want to happen, what challenges would be fun to play?
