my rule of thumb for dog dialogue is, 'could an animal sidekick convey this in a disney movie'. i figure that as canines, the dogs' body language and barks would make as much intuitive sense to werewolves as the exaggerated miming that cartoon dogs do in shows for humans. also most animal sidekick 'dialogue' is emotional commentary plus the occasional warning of danger, which... i think is what dogs probably stick to, also.

Oh wow. I have had such a bad past few months, with the topper ending up in TEMPE when the job interview was in NORTH PHOENIX today, that reading about Bel "Hot Dad" Kadros taking care of Lu and also Twitch made my day 9000% better. I am completely and utterly charmed by the Lu<>Twitch relationship and I completely adore Bel trying to get the background on Lu. Space Navy AU is the best BEST.

Spoiler i had trouble parsing this post 'cause both erskin and his father have the same last name. i was initially confused 'cause it mentioned that erskin was there then said that aspera wasn't and i was like, "what? no? erskin's there!" and then i remembered that he has a father and that his father has the same last name as him, the way fathers tend to, haha.
yeah i think i'm going with, when a werewolf bite is passed on to a human, the new wolf is like... created out of nowhere, so it's an identical twin. still, it seems reasonable to suppose that, in the way that cloned tabby cats have different stripes, the new wolf wouldn't have identical fur patterning, even though it was basically a clone. in pancho's case, though, where she's a different sex, she gets a spiffy magical x chromosome, too. i can only presume that daisy and suzie got a friend to change reggie, rather than doing it themselves.
@alchemicalheart main plot stuff is not too bad if you follow the archives! :D It is all nicely organized by text colour and it flows nicely. alas they haven't had time to update it with the last stuff from Tumblr, before it switched to Kintsugi...
