I bout flipped of my bed in excitement to see Rhys, Tales ended up actually being my favorite Borderlands game. Though I also love 2, the fiance and I are planning on replaying all of them in preparation, we finished 1, and are halfway thru 2. I normally main Zer0 but I'm giving Axton a try, I never play the commandos... It's either sniper or melee (Brick is my main for 1) Who does everyone want to play first for 3?
Oh, about 3, can we have spoilers for a while after release? The storyline is one of my favorite parts of the series and I have no way to play so I'm probably going to have to watch a let's play and play myself at one point in the future. I wanna wait for a good no commentary playthrough to come out; promos, teasers, and commercials are fine as they are meant to be seen by everyone
I'm gonna have to steer clear of any BL3-adjacent places for the first half a year after the game launches, sadly. I just pray that my dashboards aren't full with thumbnail spoilers like they usually are >_>
I want to play every single new character in 3!!! I haven't been able to say that for the others no matter how much I loved them. I. LOVE. The. New. Siren. She's certainly cosplay goals.
New BL3 trailer, really digging Zane's jaunty self. Honestly, this trailer is the most exciting reveal they've made about the game yet. (Also, I'm looking forward to BL3, but feel everyone should know about the David Eddings issues and his mistreatment when working for Gearbox, so if anyone hasn't heard I'll give the details)
@Queer Disaster Regarding DLC characters, I'm pretty sure they said they're just sticking with the base characters this time because they want to focus on their current cast because its getting big.

FAIR TBH though. i'm honestly not sure if i'll actually buy it due to pitchford's stupid bullshit at this point. it's soured the idea of bl3 for me, like their continued hiring of Vaughn's VA despite abuse allegations as well, from what i remember hearing a month or so back.
Yeah. It's weird that Vaughn's VA was brought back, meanwhile there's the issue with Eddings and Rhys's VA... Weirdly there was also a thing with Rhys' voice actor where Randy said 'they attempted to contact him' but Rhys' VA said 'he only heard he'd been recast after the fact'. So... Sour notes everywhere. Despite sour notes, I'm psyched for the game because I find the protags fun and exciting, and I miss the cast, and... well... even David has said he feels bad for the team of Bl3 for having to deal with Randy's stupid lofty CEO ass. But I get it souring the game or even turning some people off it completely. The first time I read about the Eddings issues a few months ago it really fucked me up. It's pretty horrendous employee treatment objectively speaking even if I wasn't already attached to Eddings, which I am. Plus Randy has shit going on beyond that.
Spoiler: BL1 spoilers, character death I am still upset to this day about T K Baja being killed off, especially because of the way it happened. I still remember going into his little shack to see him hanging by his leg on the ceiling fan and just feeling absolutely crushed It actually built really well into the whole 'this planet is a hellish dirt ball, you are never safe' narrative and therefore brought the immersion up for me by a lot
I started with BL1, and sorta finished it? I got bogged down in the DLC, but I finished the main storyline. I finished BL2, too, but only got partway through the Pre-Sequel. I usually go for Sirens, because I liked playing Lilith during the first game, and Maya was fun too. Gaige is cute and fun to play too, though.

Character and stat setup spoilers (fl4k): Spoiler: spoilers Decided to not skag pup since it comes with a strength build instead of a long range build. I am now the proud owner of an adorable spiderant babie named Rosie and I love her So far I'm loving fl4k because robob = good, and pets aren't summonable, they just stay with you the whole game once you pick them!! And you can even switch out and Respec to a different pet at a change station! Beastmaster class is feeling a little OP but I'm having fun either way :3c
