    I'm also on mobile.

on desktop they're very different, but that's because I run heavy modded firefox and I'm pretty sure kintsugi never got permission to load custom fonts.

I will note, though, that you aren't using the default skin; you've got rather more pink.

I'm getting a tiny difference between o and 0 but I really have t0 lo0k at them side by side to distinguish.

The site keeps being blocked on mobile. Sometimes it comes back for a while and then it gets blocked again. Mobile network thinks it's suspicious.

Which mobile network? I've heard of some blacklist listing the site occasionally, but nothing lasting, and I've never found any kind of explanation of what they think the problem is.

That's probably more your phone's browser (I use chrome and its the same as Liz's) or your phone's default don't settings.

Also, I want to point out that the forum is hosted by xenforo as a lot of behaviors are hard wired in with no way to change them. Think of it more like changing a theme or a skin, rather than control over all the details.

Xenforo is super buggy and terrible, but unfortunately we just kinda gotta live with it. Sometimes we can figure out why it does a thing, but there's no way to change it.

Ex, the "see all posts thing". That's not likely to be something that can be changed, it's just the way the software happens to apply the filtering. It's weird but shrug, we gotta live with it.

I noticed a few of your questions end up with this kinda answer, so I'm trying to help explain! ^^

Just to put it in perspective: Honestly Xenforo is probably the least-shitty of the forum softwares. (And to be picky, they wrote it, but the actual hosting is my computer.)

you host a website from a server you own. has the nsa or another government entity contacted you regarding kintsugi and told you that you can't discuss what they say to you?

P sure they only do that if the user base is over a certain number of which Kintsugi's, being a very niche and, lets face, not exactly influential community will probably never be.

you aren't wrong, it's just general principle. (if seebs doesn't answer for long enough, while also being active elsewhere on this site, I'll revise my opinion on what sites the nsa does and doesn't target, for one thing.)

... No, why would they? I'd guess the majority of programming type people I know host websites on their own servers, why would the NSA care?

I went to like a profile post and it basically pulled up an 'are you sure' page??? Big screen shot:

Could not reproduce results??? Even on the same user, both same post and different post

I’ve had that happen with regular posts a few times before, I believe (edit: although not recently). No clue why it happens or what could be triggering it, though—it seems to be a weird random occurrence?

I've triggered similar conf dialogues in the past when my internet is super slow or the connection temporarily blipped out for a second. Maybe it's set to auto-confirm always but those blips cause it to glitch out?

i'd guess that's because the javascript hasn't loaded yet so it's falling back to a non-javascript UI

If it's slow internet, it could also be that the system received multiple requests so it's trying to give you a chance to confirm

desktop brave browser (newest stable release)

since it mentions images, is this just because some people have linked images from off-site (like gyazo, imgur, tumblr, etc.) in their signatures?

edit: im seeing this only on some (all? havent checked) threads and notably not the homepage, but all linked images i can find are hosted on secure websites

Yes, it's just the linked images. Annoying interaction of features.

I just had this happen again myself--I think it's definitely a matter of slow internet, because when it happened my wifi was being a fuck and everything was loading super slowly. Just a further datapoint! :)
