question: would people object to me making a second character? because. I. have an idea. for a child of Boreas. and I want to use them. but if people would rather we each stick to one character I can do that.
I mean I'm still agonizing over making an Egyptian magician character, so (the issue is making a character who would need to worship the Egyptian gods directly, and. Passover was not even a week ago, the magic system and world is REALLY COOL but)
true. I am used to playing multiple characters, but I can see how it could maybe get confusing for other people? ....I am not entirely sure what NPCs would be for, though.
Like, I'm assuming we're going to randomly interact with people who aren't like, actually part of it, until our characters leave the camp at least? sorry if I'm not making sense.
oooooooooooh. I mean, that makes sense. I'm just unused to having NPCs in RPs :P but we can do that! ....and then I can use the child of Boreas as an NPC, perhaps
and villians and side characters and get-the-plot-moving characters and characters your characters can ask questions to like, "what is the way to the empire state building?" characters that don't really have arcs and are just there to grease the wheels of the plot and make it so the world consists of more people than just the player characters.
that makes sense. child of Boreas can totally be one of those. they don't have a name yet. but behold their appearance Spoiler: here
Bluh I don't remember how claiming works. Or how much gods are willing to interact with their kids I wonder if I can have Clio show up sometimes
claiming usually happens via a symbol that represents the god/goddess appearing over the kid's head, if I'm remembering right as for how much interest gods take, it varies from god to god, Clio could totally be the type to be interested in Auden
We should have a character where the claiming happens and they're like "cool! So whose symbol is that?" And everyone else is like uhhhh time to do research?
and the kid's like "you...you seriously don't know who it is?" "no, we don't....but we'll figure it out, don't you worry!"
