see, i know that i picked the name on accident but knowing jack i would not be surprised if they picked it on purpose just to see the look on people's faces when they realize

 

I have OCs I swear have been planning stuff without me knowing about it. Like, I'll just throw in some random thing in stuff I write, and I look back at it a while later and go "... Oh".

i have a character who became a literal god without telling me. i got to that part of the story and i was like ".....shit....shit....what did i do to deserve this..."
i've actually been rewriting their story (kinda) and it actually works really well. angst on a cosmic level, anyone?

 

yeah, I started writing a character who was originally going to be immortal and then suddenly just went "no, I'm a god who lost their soul" and flounced off and I was like "????????????????????? now I have to revise your whole backstory wtf"

 

Dom just kinda poked me in the back and went "Hey, dude. I'm trans." and I spent months finding a way to make it happen.
And Sol is heavily hinting that they're my author in-universe, which is confusing.

similarly, EVERYONE IS BI
even people I WANTED to have be straight.

 

I have one straight OC and he's an asshole.

Bast is millions of cats, both male and female-bodied, and goes by "she" pronouns.
Dom is a trans guy.
The other Dom is AMAB nonbinary.
Morgan is girl-shaped and goes by "she" in human languages, but never particularly cared, and might not have even bothered to check until a while ago.
Sol is ANoneOfYourBusinessAB and nonbinary.
The Hoodie is a hoodie.
Still-Unnamed-Ship-AI's gender is either watercooling or basic human ethics. They put too much of the budget into, you know, useful stuff, to give it a gender.
Even the sparklewolf is totally in denial about genderweird feelings.
... That leaves Stealthlock.

... Okay, my only cis OC is the asshole straight guy. Oh well.

The comic @peripheral and I are doing has...mostly queer characters, but the character who's arguably the main character (but only arguably) is a cishet guy
