She actually just has a ponytail with a big old ribbon bow, not pigtails. Think the protagonist from Necropolis.



A lot of her visual character aesthetic is inspired by the Third Sword, here, she just doesn't dress as fancy when at Camp Jupiter bc uniform.

Also I'm thinking that her dad was an activist of some protest movement (not sure which one yet) in the 1990s and that is how they met.

Larkspur's dad probably owns one of those big plant nursery thingies.

 

Adara's mom was probably a devotee of Hades, and she smacked into him while she was on a journey visiting a temple of his, and didn't put two and two together, but he found her interesting and they dated for a while, he left when she told him that she was pregnant, and then everything kinda went down the drain and she got bitter and angry.

 

I am honestly tempted to have Auden's mom be a blacksmith at some reenactment museum or something.

Actually random thing yell at me if it doesn't work:

Auden's mom is partially divine, but its diluted enough that her Greek god great great grandmother doesn't really pay attention. (Possibly Metis?) So she knows what she's getting into when she sleeps with that hot 'touring master' (no one believes Hephaestus, he is not subtle) and actually raises Auden competently?

I kind of want my OCs to have competent parents
