Incidentally I think the unnamed girl should specialize in either unarmed combat (pankration, I guess?) or a polearm of some sort, since it appears that polearms are the typical weapons of peasant uprisings.
ooooh I like it I think it works!! I mean, legacies (people descended from a demigod) are definitely a thing, at least in Camp Jupiter, so I don't see why they couldn't be a thing with the Greek side of stuff too.
@peripheral I like this plan. We need some competent parents out here. nice plan uh, anyone got weapon suggestions for Larkspur? I'm not sure what I wanna do.
weapon suggestions for Adara, also, please! also I need help figuring out what her powers ought to be...
I say zombie minions. But, I may just like zombies. My first weapon thinks for, uh, everyone, was just sword? but we already got someone with a fancy sword. (also, I have the mental image of Larkspur grumpily growing plants at people.)
I think I will go with a war scythe, as a) it is an awesome sounding name for a weapon and b) historically used a lot in revolts, and apparently possibly in some Greek ones! And pankration too I suppose. Still not sure what her powers should be - Adrestia is apparently 'she who cannot be escaped' so maybe super-good tracking, finding out truth/fault, stamina, etc? Though more flashy supernatural stuff is fun... For Larkspur, a bow and arrows? Or a staff?
All of this sounds really good :-) I would totally plan with you guys, unfortunately I don't really do RPs. But have fun! And I will see if I can sort of keep up with reading XD
....skeleton minions this is my idea also can she have some kind of shadowkinesis as for weapon...hmmmm. ....can she fight with a giant metal key with a blade on the end. and when she's not using it it turns into a tiny key and goes in her pocket. (I'm joking. I don't actually know what her weapon will be. but I looked up 'symbols of Hades' and one of them is a key.)
oooh yeah!! dagger of Stygian Iron, I think. she's the type to be more comfortable in close quarters with her enemies, which she'd need to be with a dagger, as opposed to wielding a long-range weapon, like a spear, or even a sword.
That is basically how Frank Zhang ends up descended from both Neptune (distantly) and Mars (hi dad!). So it works.
Does the Jupiter camp have a claiming thing as well? Because I'm wondering if my girl could have ended up getting assumed to be a descendant of Ares or Aphrodite (technically not wrong) until the 'every kid gets claimed' thing happened...
and now i wanna find one of the lower gods to be the divine half of mine, if i join. there are gods of rivers, right? everything must be mermaids i have mild problem
