Adara opened her mouth and then closed it, and then said, "Are we dating?" Wasn't that moving kind of quickly? They hadn't even really been on a date yet...
"We haven't even really been on a date," Adara mumbled, not mentioning they had one planned for the night of capture the flag. Or the fact that they'd kissed. Lark had kissed her. She smiled a bit at this thought.
"Oh, shush, I was only smiling because--well, never mind." She blushed a bit, not sure how to tell Jack they'd kissed. It was...a little weird.
Jack glanced at Auden, then looked back to Adara. "He's really pretty, okay? I'd be lying to myself if I said I'm not very attracted to him. And he's a good kisser. I'm pretty sure we're dating. I think we're dating."
"My bad," Adara said apologetically, fighting off a sudden pang of jealousy. The fuck? Shaking her head slightly, she offered, "We can go, if you want."
"Okay, cool," Adara said cheerfully. After a moment, she asked, with a little grin on her face, "Soooooooo....what'd you do? Was more kissing involved?"
Adara giggled. "I mean...." She let the sentence trail off, as if to suggest that yes, that was exactly what she thought.
Jack grinned. "I'm good at life. I have a pretty boyfriend and the best friend I could ask for. Even if she doesn't ever knock."
Adara grinned back. "And that will never change," she told him cheerfully, wondering why she was feeling just the tiniest bit....melancholy, upset, something along those lines? She shook herself mentally and tried to focus on the conversation. "So....what did you two do?"
Jack's eyes lit up. "We watched this really cool show! It's called RWBY and the characters have really cool weapons and I think we're halfway through season 1 and Auden says it only gets better and -" Jack stopped to catch their breath. "It's just really, really cool."
