On the subject of catching Pokemon, due to boredom and surfing the internet, I've decided to do a different sort of challenge run in Pokemon Omega Ruby. I saw an article on Kotaku the other day about a guy who's spent the last two years (837 hours total) filling his entire Pokedex... without getting any badges or leaving the starting areas. Then I thought if I did this in Omega Ruby (getting the EXP Share, which in turn would enable me to level up all my Pokemon significantly faster than without it) I could probably do it in around half the time. So I'm gonna see if I can do it, along with my usual gaming.

 

Keldeo is available via nintendo network starting next week! Also, does anybody else have an absolute TCG and the pins that sometimes come with it obsession like my bf and I do? I swear together we've spent easily 1000+ on cards and pins and other merch...

The Pokemon TCG is my One True Weakness, literally every time I get paid I end up buying an Elite Box or one of the booster multipacks with the pins in. I dread to think how much I've spent on it over the years! Have you been getting the 20th Anniversary boxes? I've got so many of them on my wishlist but it'd probably be cheaper to buy the pins separately and then get a bunch of Generations boosters...

 

I never was really into the card game, but i used to have a lot of the cards, cause a kid i knew would give me all the ones he thought were too girly XD

 

I've bought the jirachi and shaymin one, and I'll definitely getting my hands on the Keldeo one next paycheck. I've also bought the venusaur and pikachu EX boxes with the figurines haha...

Generations treats me so well in terms of pulls. I've gotten so many EX's and full art from them buddy I cry...

 

i stopped collecting some point early, but i pride myself on having vanilla, jungle, and fossil complete, and rocket almost complete ::D (thats the first four editions). got some of a few following editions, but nowhere near. lots of early promo cards (but youll pry those from my cold dead fingers), too.

 

@MayaaFeys I...may have just purchased those same boxes because one was on sale. Oops. (They don't have figurines though. D: Just big ol' jumbo cards.) I definitely found the pulls were really good from my Elite box as well! Idk whether there's just a really good ratio of good cards in this series or what, but I got a bunch of EXes and Radiant cards. :D

 

Don't worry, the ones with the jumbo cards are a different set. The ones with the figurines just have the figure and a full art promo card. :D
