I'm assuming that was in response to a lot of people in XY who got tired of grinding the Elite 4 just to buy the clothes they wanted. Problem being that XY had a ton of varied fashions and fullbody fashions, which Sun/Moon doesn't have afaik.

Lusamine and Guzma fainted some of my Pokémon and I'm kind of Irritated about that. Also probably should have figured out that gladion was lillie's protective older bro waaaaaaay sooner than I did (I think I might have suspected when he was like protect cosmog at all costs but it was cemented when he flipped when Lillie was taken). Also wasn't expecting guzma to be working WITH Lusamine for some reason??? Even tho team skull was literally the one to drag her off. So Guzma turned out to be Awful too which makes me feel loads better about nabbing that buginium z from him. I feel so bad 4 actual team skull tho.

Also: I adore all of these children. They're still v much *children* and they're so determined it makes me happy.

yesterday i was in a cave trying to fish. out of desperation at only getting magikarp, i chained for an hour until a lvl 15 gyrados turned up
i caught that
immediately afterwards as i was surfing back to shore, in encountered a psyduck
i wondered if i could acquire a golduck via the same method
i had a lot of ethers and elixers and leppa berries
next day and over six hundred psyduck later, and it's just yellow, vacant stares all the way down
but i'm in too deep now
it's personal
im not leaving until i either get a shiny, or they stop coming

I didn't get a shiny. I ran out of moves. Knocked out over 120 more before that happened. This was the last duck standing. Friend did IV calculations for me: estimated 4/6 max. I am told that is good.

Most of my experience so far is sobbing uncontrollably when my pokemon does something like endure the hit or snap out of a status or looks like it might cry and im broken... thank u game freak... u have brought light into my life again

So, I'm back from my absence (long story, many trigger warnings) and have finished the main story of Moon.

Oh my gosh, Lillie! And Nebby! This was a really good story, in my opinion at least. I do hope Lillie comes back during the postgame but please don't tell me if she does.

And now I'm torn between working on my Pokedex or restarting to do a Nuzlocke. I do like Nuzlockes, and there's enough of a difficulty spike toward the end that it might be a challenge. But I've never really completed my Pokedex.
