a lot of shinies have barely different color schemes unfortunately. i got totodile from gts and didn't even think it looked that different from the original until it evolved.

 

yeah those ones are very subtle. Then there's me who got a shiny Nidoking in a wondertrade on ORAS and had a split second wondering of "wtf does this nidoqueen look so weird???" before it clicked. Observant is me :P

 

so due to some breeding mishaps I have way too many goddam Gibles in my box. free to a good home!

 

Guys if I have someone's DS friend code how do I trade with them?

 

It's a little complicated. You need to have festival plaza, go to it, connect to the internet (it's the bottom right button), have all your communication features enabled (or at least the trading ones... you can turn those on via the leftmost button iirc, and once they're on they stay on), then press the trade button and use 'link trade', and find your friend's character name on the list and select. It can be buggy and not open up a trade if both people do it at once, so you should nominate one person to try and open the trade.

anecdata: i can trade just fine even though my stuff is set to "refuse requests", i think those only show a preference, and i would like a "maybe" option.
the only problems cropped up when my trading partner's wifi was spotty and he kept dcing

Anyone want a scrappy pancham? Scrappy allows you to hit ghosts with normal and fighting moves and pancham/pangoro are the only ones able to have this and false swipe, making them perfect for chaining pokemon like sandyghast

 

also, does anyone need dratini, gabite, or beldum?? I have way too many
