Good news at least: I got my friend to teach my munchlax recycle, and it already had hold back. That means I've got a shiny/4IV hunting teammate for all the 'mons I want.

all i need is a run of the mill male sylveon and i will get that shiny female salandit you mark my words

 

Yeah so that shiny eevee I caught and intended to evolve into a sylveon with cute charm? It has Pixelate.

Good news for my husband though I guess.

 

chaining gets you a better chance for hidden abilities, 4/5 IVs AND shinies

you lucked out, but not in the way you wanted

 

The funny part is that's the eevee that showed up 17 into the chain. I didn't even hit the 40 minimum for 4 max IVs lmao.

For the poke finder ive heard that the poni island spot is really good for consistently nice photos, plus goodra(?) is worth like 20-30k when you can find it

THREE TIMES I had to try to catch that bastard. it would. not. stay. in. a. ball.

The first two times it ran out of moves and Struggled itself to death and I ragequat/reset. The third time I taught my Type: Null Thunder Wave, which helped a little but Fini popped off an Aqua Ring before I could paralyze it. Most of my Ultra Balls later, it finally decided to settle the fuck down and stay in the ball.

One more guardian to go!

 

I'm not fond of my team at the moment but just don't feel like I have many options... I wish there were a larger variety of Pokemon from other generations. I know trading and stuff exists but maaaan, the variety just feels so small.

 

Honestly i cheated and just traded for the tapus bc it was literally easier to harvest a couple razor claws and catch some sneasels to stick them on than it was to try catching any of the tapus again

 

fucking dusk balls and timer balls guys. If you know you're going into a long haul fight with a legendary (ish) do it at night and bring those. Better catch rate than an ultraball, late game I use almost nothing but.

 

lol speaking of, does anyone have a Razor Claw they'd be willing to trade? Squeezle wants to grow up at last.
