Alas I am filling my dex by levelling my party and catching things to fill holes, so grimer does not have false swipe :P

 

Ey, guys, anyone here know if Areodactyl's any good as a gym defender in Pokémon Go? And if so, can y'all throw me name suggestions for an Areodactyl that's better and less slur-containing than Spergosaur?

Oh cool, I've never been sure about that.

I thought maybe all the other gym ppls were just Srs Gamers who did not do such frivolous, sentimental things as get attached to their defenders, or name every damn mon they caught before transfer because it wouldn't be fair otherwise.

... That was a little silly of me, now I think of it.

 

if tomorrow's pokemon direct is about diamond and pearl remakes then i'm gonna spend the next 18 months being monumentally angry at nintendo

 

If they remake those then they're going to have to start remaking remakes after that

 

I hope whatever they announce is a game, remake or not. Second Kanto/Johto/both remakes would be hella, and so would a third Sun/Moon installment, but I'd be pleased with Sinnoh remakes, too. I want to see how they redesign Team Galactic. High-res bowlcuts? Unironic vaporwave?

 

Fuck yeah. My first Pokemon game was SoulSilver so I'd be super pumped to see a remake of that.

 

We haven't had a kanto remake since fire red/leaf green, and that wasn't even for the DS. So seconding kanto.

 

Depends if you count HGSS as Kanto or not. Guessing you don't.

I personally would love HG/SS remakes, but that's because they were my first Pokemon games so I'm biased

 

Diamond (and Platinum) still hold parts of my heart and honestly I'd love a remake that pulls in the Mirror World into the primary games, so I would be pretty hype about a Sinnoh remake. It had been 13 years since the Kanto remakes though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we start the remake cycle with that again too.
