Does anyone have recs for military-style horror in the vein of nothotbutspicy's Humper Monkey story? I'm working my way through 50 Foot Ant's continuations but I don't like them as much. But the original 2/19ths story was Good Shit.
The rest of the book isn’t very similar to it, but there’s a short story in The Things They Carried called “Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong”, and that’s what comes to my mind when I think of military horror
video not available but im guessing the super bowl commercial with peele?? im so fuckin hyped if anyone can do it right it's him
Scary stories was My Shit but I won't be watching the movie. Visual stuff is easier for my brain to turn into literal nightmare fuel, which is why i read my horror XD I hope whoever watches it likes it though!
Have y'all seen the new salad fingers episode yet? It came out last month and it is hella creepy and i love it
Salad Fingers actually upset me TOO much as a kid lol. I'd watch nothing but horror movies but the minute he started caressing that... I think it was a fork? It's been a while. Either way, I noped out. Turns out I don't like that :(
Yeah I'd definitely suggest not watching episode 11 then, it takes the rest of the series and cranks it up a few hundred notches Edit: Spoiler: Minor spoilers Hubert Cumberdale (the real boy) is my beautiful disgusting body horror son
I think I saw an ad for it! It looks very well-made! I don't think I'll watch it, but I'm glad the creator seems to be very passionate about their work!
self-aware horror is a fave. i esp enjoy that i cant....QUITE tell how much is set up. like, was the cabin already a nightmare and he just decided to make a thread abt it? sideeyes the swings in no small amount of Fear
I fucking read that last night right before falling asleep and I got so svared I had to get up and turn on some lights. It's 'if you see her, please give this to her' that killed me.
Also PHONE REPAIRMAN Edit: I don't know if I WAS afraid of phone repairmen and didn't realize it, if this story made me afraid of phone repairmen, or if I'm only afraid of phone repairmen in this story, but when I got to 'phone repairman' I was PETRIFIED. My entirr thought process was 'I'll bet that's not a very common job anymore PHONE REPAIRMEN NO NO NO NOT THAT maybe it's more common in Australia AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! NOT A PHONE REPAIRMAN!!'
us good. critics that try to pretend us isn't a horror film because that means admitting genre fiction can be intelligent bad.
Reading creepypasta because stressed. Rather like Journal Entries , sounds like some of the Weird Shit that's happened to me, with a side of Gideon Calgary Keys flavor.
Pyewacket is a good movie. There is a scene with self harm. Spoiler: Spoilers The ending is so sad though, because the evil spirit tricks her and she sets her own mother on fire. Polaroid is also pretty good, and can be found for free on YouTube. I feel like I’m finding less good horror movies and I’ve just been switching between shudder and Hulu.
